Apply to a new full-time MA degree study programme Spatial Design

The aim of the Spatial Design program is to educate highly qualified professionals — spatial designers and built environment researchers — who are capable of working across disciplines and responding creatively and responsibly to today’s ecological, social, and technological challenges. The program focuses on developing critical thinking, research-based design, and future-oriented spatial strategies that contribute to sustainable and meaningful change in our everyday environments.
Students are encouraged to explore the relationship between spatial practice and global processes, applying innovative tools to address issues such as climate change, circular economy, material reuse, and social inclusion. The program fosters not only the ability to design spatial solutions, but also to reflect critically on one’s own practice and to act as a socially engaged and culturally aware designer capable of initiating positive transformations in the material and social landscape.
